Tell us about your experience in the Pharmacy field and what does that mean to our students.

“I’m excited about jumping into my new role as Pharmacy Technician Program Director. I’ve spent the past 13 years educating Pharmacy Technicians.

My career began at National Institute of Technology in 2004 as Instructor. Over the years, I worked my way up to Lead Instructor in 2006, to Program Chair in 2010, to Department Chair in 2016.

I plan to take that same 13yrs of passion and commitment to develop successful Pharmacy Technician student at MedCerts because I am passionate about teaching. My love for this profession stems from having the opportunity to see students grow and learn on a daily basis. These students will have someone totally committed to their success.’

What made you choose MedCerts of all the Pharmacy Tech schools out there?

“I’ve worked for one company my entire educational career. I believe my new role at MedCerts allows me the opportunity to take what I’ve learned there and spread my wings. More importantly, it allows me an opportunity to learn more about education in today’s world.

Education has changed significantly over the years. Hours in the classroom as a student is almost non-existent. MedCerts is taking a huge leap in the world of educational progress and I want to be a part of that innovation and success. The leaders of this organization are young visionaries, I’m proud to be a part of this team.

My favorite quote is by Vincent B. Peale. ‘Change your thoughts, change your world.’ This company matches my vision.”

What are some things you hope to accomplish at MedCerts?

My husband is a U.S. Army Vet (Desert Storm Desert Shield). I spend a lot of time volunteering at the VA hospital in Detroit. Many of them and their spouses come home unemployed. My goal is to assist as many students, including our military students, as possible successfully complete the RX3000 Program.

I want to see them grow academically and go on to be well-informed, successful, and responsible members of society.
