Finding Success With MedCerts Student Success Team

You’ll find different academic advisors ready to assist. What’s the difference between career coaches and student success advisors?

A Student Success Advisor acts as your professional and education support as you work through your courses, while a MedCerts Career Coach can assist you with preparing for your new career. Each expert is part of your support team, helping you achieve milestones, goals and career success.

3 Reasons to Connect With Your Student Success Team

Reach out to your personal MedCerts student success team whenever you need a helping hand. Here are some of the ways the MedCerts team can support you.

Help With Resume Writing

Career Coaches can help you craft a resume that shows off your skills and highlights why you’re an excellent candidate for the role. From suggestions on effective resume layouts to resume audits that ensure you’ve included all relevant educational and work experience, Career Coaches know what makes a stand-out resume. These professionals in the Career Center can also help you with your cover letter.

Interview Prep

You’ve landed an interview. Congratulations! Now you need to prepare for the meeting. Career Coaches can be your go-to resource during your interview preparation. They can guide you on best practices, what to bring to the interview and other helpful tips. They can also support you with mock interviews, giving you a practice run of what you might expect.

Problems With Your Studies

Sometimes, you might have trouble with some parts of your coursework. You can connect with your MedCerts Student Success Advisor if you need support with your studies. MedCerts students are each assigned a Student Success Advisor when they start a program. These advisors can share study and time management tips as well as strategies on how to overcome course difficulties.

How to Get Personalized Support

All MedCerts programs are 100% online, which means you connect with your Student Success Team through text, email and phone calls. Your student advisor is your one-on-one mentor, and you can set up meetings with them for support.

It’s the same for Career Coaches. The Career Center hosts regular Ask the Career Coach Live sessions, where you can hop on a call with other students and get advice. If you prefer a more private contact, request support using the Ask a Career Coach form.
