Air Force COOL Meets MedCerts: Here’s What to Know

Talk to an Army C.A. Education Consultant Today

For years, MedCerts online academic certification programs have provided valuable resources for members of the U.S. Army. Now, this respected education provider has been approved as a vendor for Air Force COOL — and Airmen and Airwomen can take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their careers.

Air Force COOL is part of the process for enlisted AF personnel to earn professional certifications with the support of federal grant funding. These certifications can apply to your current career in the United States Armed Forces, or you can pursue other pathways that can help you transition into civilian life.

Through Air Force COOL, school becomes affordable and part of a life-long learning habit that will propel you forward professionally. This online information portal provides the information you need to learn about the resources available to you through your career in the Air Force.

Not every online certification school will qualify for government grants. MedCerts is an approved provider of the Air Force Credentialing Opportunities Online (COOL) program, and experienced education consultants are available now to answer questions about your eligibility.

What Is Air Force COOL?

AF COOL is an online service through the U.S. Department of Defense that provides information about training and funding opportunities that can enhance your career both while serving your country and when returning to civilian life.

Active-duty Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air Force National Guard, and U.S. Space Force personnel may be eligible for up to $4,500 in financial assistance through AF COOL. However, this funding can only be used with approved educational programs, like MedCerts.

This funding can be used for expenses that include classroom study, hands-on programs, online or blended training, study guides and materials, textbooks, fees, exams, and recertification costs.

In addition to an active-duty status, requirements for these credentialing opportunities include:

  • Possessing a 5-skill level in your Primary Air Force Specialty Code

  • Staying current on the most recent fitness test

  • Having a profile in AFVEC with an approved credentialing goal

  • Receiving supervisor approval

Why MedCerts is an Innovative Learning Choice

With years of experience working directly with the U.S. Department of Defense through a similar Army program and the MyCAA military spouse education program, MedCerts is an ideal and innovative choice for Air Force personnel ready to take their careers to the next level. With up-to-date certifications, your resume will be attractive to future civilian employers as well as to your AF supervisors.

MedCerts specializes in in-demand and high-paying careers in healthcare and information technology, and the online school is a leader in high-quality, experiential online training certifications for the military community.

Talking to a MedCerts Military Education Consultant will answer any questions you may have about the process and set you on a path to launch a new career, or enhance the one you’ve already begun.
