Learning with MedCerts

MedCerts courses effectively use the 12 elements of eLearning with 3D virtual scenarios and training simulations. For example, you can build your communication skills by interacting with AI-enabled virtual patients in a real-time program. In other courses, you can practice using dentistry equipment virtually. These simulated experiences help students understand the day-to-day realities of working as a dental assistant.

MedCerts even helps students start their careers and find local opportunities for hands-on experience. Some MedCerts students find paid positions with employers while still in school. Employers often hire students before they have passed their certification exams because doing so streamlines the hiring process. If you can’t commit to simultaneous full-time work and full-time classes, you can try job shadowing, volunteering, taking an internship, or an externship instead. All are great ways to gain real-world experience.

Most students pay their tuition out of pocket, but if you need extra financial support, you can apply for a federally funded workforce grant to become a dental assistant.
