Furthering its mission to provide relevant education to the broadest community of learners, Franklin University announces a new partnership with MedCerts, a Stride, Inc. company (NYSE: LRN), an online training provider for healthcare and IT certifications. Through this partnership, learners will have the opportunity to invest in themselves and the economy as they work to meet workforce education needs and advance their career prospects.

Franklin University students will soon have access to much of MedCerts’ catalog of 40+ healthcare and IT training offerings, beginning today with nine programs that reflect opportunities in in-demand career fields:

Reflecting many of the occupations predicted by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to see the highest number of new jobs added in the next decade, these self-paced, short-term learning options provide learners with the opportunity to match their ability levels, experiences, and career goals with the most in-demand areas of employment. Credits earned through many MedCerts certificate offerings can also be applied toward future degree-seeking endeavors. Additionally, Franklin’s employer partners will be able to fill in-demand job vacancies more quickly with MedCerts certified students.
