Here’s how to get the most out of your MedCerts student support team.

Take Advantage of the MedCerts Career Center

One of the most valuable resources available to MedCerts students is the Career Center. This website provides job search assistance, resume and cover letter review, interview preparation and access to job boards and other resources. Career Coaches work with you to identify your career goals and create a customized job search plan. They also help you connect with potential employers and provide guidance throughout the entire job search process.

Learn About All of the Support Services Available to You

MedCerts offers various support services to help students succeed. In addition to Career Coaches, students can receive one-on-one mentorship from a personal Student Success Advisor and technical support. Student Success Advisors are available to help you with any questions or concerns about your program. They can also provide guidance on study skills and time management.

Technical support is available to help students with any technical issues they may encounter while using the MedCerts platform. If you’re having trouble accessing your coursework or completing assignments, our in-house technical support can help you get back on track.

Take Time to Be Introspective

Taking time to reflect on your progress and identifying any issues or questions you may have is important. This introspection can help you stay on track and maximize the resources available. Reflect on your goals, what you’ve accomplished so far and what you need to do to reach your ultimate objectives. If you’re feeling stuck or are unsure about your progress, contact your Student Success Advisor or a Career Coach for support.

Have an Action Plan

It’s always a good idea to plan ahead when problems arise. The planning can include creating a backup strategy for internet or technology issues. Also, have a contingency plan for when life complexities get in the way of your studies. Having a plan in place can help you feel more prepared and less stressed when problems arise.

Communicate Often

Communication is key in getting the most out of your MedCerts student support team. Be sure to reach out to your Student Success Advisor or Career Coach with questions or concerns. Let them know if you’re struggling with your coursework or need additional support. They’re here to help you succeed and can’t do that if they don’t know what you need.

Embrace MedCerts Support Team

Taking advantage of the support and student services available can make a significant difference in your success as a MedCerts student. By utilizing the Career Center, learning about all the support services available, being introspective, planning ahead and communicating often, you can get the most out of your MedCerts Student Success Advisor.
