The Military Friendly School title is given not based on the question “Are you Military Friendly?” but “How Military Friendly Are You?” The Military Friendly Schools list is compiled using data broken into 10 weighted categories. “It lets the military community have certain expectations about where they’re going to put their talent, their military benefits and their hard work to bear”, says co-founder Chris Hale on the importance of defining the term Military Friendly. “It lets them know which institutions value them most, offer the best career opportunities, benefits, and career paths. Without it, institutions are able to create their own definitions around this and similar terms which can mislead military members.”
“This is a really well-organized program. I’m really happy with it…If you are not doing it and you’re a military spouse, you have to. This is a great opportunity for you to take advantage and just do it.” says Patricia on her YouTube Channel. “They are really great people and everyone that I have spoken to has been really nice.
