It can feel overwhelming to sign up for a training course for a new career. MedCerts works directly with their students to feel prepared as they begin their journey:
- Work with an Education Consultant who will provide you with a list of WIOA-approved courses.
- Create a customized online learning plan with the end result of starting a new career.
- After signing up, you’ll receive an orientation to help you feel comfortable with the online learning platform and the state-of-the-art tools and resources available to you.
MedCerts will take you through each step of getting ready for online learning to make sure you’re ready to hit the ground running toward your new career.
We Support You as You Learn
Career training courses can last anywhere from three to 23 weeks, depending on your learning plan. During this time, MedCerts will connect you with a personal mentor who will help you on a one-on-one basis. If you have questions about anything from technical support to course progress, answers are a click away with 24/7 live chat.
You’ll also be able to tap into the MedCerts professional network to find internships, apprenticeships, and volunteer opportunities nationwide during your course. These programs will give you a real world understanding of your new career, help you build industry connections, and strengthen your resume for when it’s time to apply for your new job.
Get Certified and Employed
The WIOA program won’t mean much if you don’t pass the certification exam. MedCerts will work with you to overcome any barriers to success, including helping you locate a testing center and scheduling your exam. We also provide practice tests, information about jobs, and opportunities for recertification. We will support you all the way, from the moment you walk through our virtual doors to the moment you land that dream job.
