Welcome to Your New Career Center: Let’s Take a Tour

Talk to a MedCerts Education Consultant Today

2021 has been a big year for MedCerts, we’re committed to constantly working to improve the experience of our students and partners. And we think our latest launch is going to be one of the best yet – introducing our new Career Center.

Through the Career Center, students and employers will be connected like never before. By utilizing these new features, learners can jump-start career planning and have a position waiting as soon as they pass the certification exam, while employers will have instant access to those students’ resumes to fill positions and build their talent pipelines.

How the MedCerts Career Center Can Help You

Our new Career Center will feature two platforms—student and employer. Both platforms are designed to make student and employer networking easier and utilizes the uConnect technology platform.

Student Resources

Upon enrollment, students will have access to many tools and resources, including:

  • Job boards: Search and filter through millions of job opportunities with these tools.

  • Interview preparation tool: Learn how to properly prepare for an interview by recording practice videos and getting feedback from a MedCerts Career Coach.

  • Job trend data: Access real-time data for details about various industries. Students can filter results by industry of interest, preferred occupation, and location.

  • Weekly webinars with career advice: Students enrolled in a MedCerts program have free access to our weekly webinars. Some topics include resumé tips, interview tips, and how to successfully job search.

  • “Ask a Career Coach” Form: Our career coaches help students with their resumé, prepare for interviews and develop a job search plan. Through this platform, you can ask a question anywhere, at any time.

  • Clinical requirements: Many healthcare career paths require students to complete hands-on clinical training. This tool allows students to locate a clinical site easily and prepares them to complete training.

  • Featured Employers: MedCerts employer partnership network is extensive. To help showcase some of our partners and their available positions, we’ve created a Featured Employer page.

‌The new Career Center also provides potential students resources to explore career pathways and job trend data before enrollment. Prospective students will also be able to see all upcoming events that include virtual career fairs and webinars. However, only enrolled students can attend the events.

Graduates

‌At MedCerts, we like to keep in touch with our graduates and continue to celebrate their successes. For these reasons, we created the Graduate Page, which shares inspirational success stories from our graduates.

‌We also use this page to celebrate new graduates and post an Employment Honor Roll. So maybe your name will be highlighted on our site next!

‌Employer Partners

Through our Employer Partnership Program, ‌MedCerts graduates have unique access to many exclusive employment opportunities and employers get the first pick of quality trained, eager-to-work candidates – a win-win!

‌Our employer partners can use the platform to create profiles, post available jobs, and see student candidates within the platform.

‌‌The following list is a small sample of employers currently partnered with MedCerts:

  • Interim Healthcare

  • Cape Fear Valley Health

  • Ashchi Heart & Vascular Center

  • Stefanini

  • WindRose Health

  • PCA Pharmacy

  • Albertsons Pharmacies
