Job search support
ERP counselors are a resource for information and help in your job search. Counselors stay on top of job market trends and employment opportunities, job fairs and hiring events and help you identify booming industries expected to grow long-term.
Job bank access
The ERP provides access to virtual career libraries, agency job banks and Internet job boards. You can search through listings and find new vacancies and opportunities within federal, state and local agencies. Once you find a position youāre interested in, ERP counselors will help you fill out the job application, update your resume and write a cover letter for submission.
MedCerts and the Employment Readiness Program
The ERP is a valuable initiative that helps active-duty members, military spouses and family members find career resources. One such career resource is MedCerts, a military spouse-approved online certification provider.
In-demand training
If it’s time to re-license in a new industry, the ERP and its counselors can help you identify in-demand careers and education grants. However, it isnāt an educational institution. MedCerts, on the other hand, provides high-value certifications in medical and informational technology industries and is an approved vendor for the MyCAA (My Career Advancement Account) military spouse grant.
Learn in-demand skills through flexible and fully online formats using cutting-edge technology, such as:

Most programs are short, lasting from three to six months, and designed to keep you engaged in your training.
