What Is the MyCAA Scholarship?
The My Career Advancement Account Scholarship, or MyCAA, is a Department of Defense program that funds education for military spouses who qualify. To receive funding, your serving military spouse must be:

On active duty or in the National Guard

Within pay grades E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2, or O-1 to O-2

Working on Title 10 military orders, at least until you finish your education program.
If you qualify, you can receive $4,000 in funding in increments up to $2,000 per fiscal year. That can mean a no-cost education if your program tuition is below the limit.

Getting Started with MyCAA

After you’ve created a MyCAA account on the Military OneSource website, you and your consultant will create your personalized Education and Training Plan. MyCAA requires all funding recipients to have this plan, including your chosen program.
