If you are the spouse of an Active Duty Service Member, you may be eligible for up to $4,000 of financial assistance, distributed in increments of up to $2,000 per fiscal year, from the Department of Defense. This scholarship grant encourages spouses of military personnel to pursue education, training, licenses, certificates, and degrees leading to employment in portable career fields. I really didn’t know what to expect actually. By the third or fourth chapter of the human body I was amazed at the mechanics of the body and all of the meticulous functions thereof. I am truly grateful for that particular part of the course. I gained so much more than I thought I would. Thank you for that experience!!! By the time I got to the phlebotomy side of the course I realized just how important it was to do the anatomy section of the program. I understand now that a lot goes into being a phlebotomist, it’s more than just drawing blood, it’s critical in how we interact with each patient in helping them to see that we are there to help them hopefully live a healthier and better life. Every second of this program was worth every long hour spent in studying and being determined and dedicated to see it through the end. Would I do it again, yes I would. Would I refer this program to anyone, no I would refer it to many . Thank you for the opportunity and for being a great staff that were with me every step of the way and for every one of my phone calls too ! I tip my hat off to each of you.
