Disclaimers
- This training program is based on the Registered Behavior Technician Task List (2nd ed.) and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for the RBT credential. The program is offered independent of the BACB. There are additional requirements (outside of training and examination) mandated by the BACB for those on the path to earning the RBT designation. Visit www.bacb.com/rbt for more information.
- Obtaining RBT certification requires that an individual complete a Competency Assessment under the supervision of a Qualified Assessor, who must hold the minimum required credentials per the BACB. This Competency Assessment must be performed while “On the Job”, therefore graduates of the MedCerts program will not immediately be eligible for certification upon completion of their program.
- While MedCerts training and related target certifications may be accepted and/or approved by your state of residency, employers reserve the right to dictate prerequisite education, experience, or certification/licensure requirements for their positions. We strongly advise students to research target job posts from area employers and relevant state requirements, barriers, or restrictions prior to enrollment to ensure eligibility upon graduation.
