GI Bill® Reimbursement

No Cost Education

If you are an Active Duty service member, veteran or eligible dependent, you may qualify for reimbursement for the full cost of a MedCerts program with your GI Bill® benefits. MedCerts is a GI Bill® authorized school through the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) GI Bill® Preparatory Course Reimbursement program for Post-9/11 GI Bill and Survivors’ (Chapter 33) and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (Chapter 35). This is not upfront tuition funding, but a reimbursement benefit to the veteran or eligible dependent after successful completion of a course tied to a certification exam.

How It Works

Unlike traditional college programs, GI Bill® benefits at MedCerts are issued through reimbursement. Here’s how it works:

A female soldier in uniform kneels to embrace her smiling children outside their home, as a man watches happily from the doorway. An American flag is displayed near the entrance, symbolizing patriotism and family reunion.

Approved Programs

Healthcare and IT are high demand civilian career fields with double-digit growth projected over the next 10 years. Up to 20 MedCerts’ programs in the healthcare and IT fields are approved for GI Bill® reimbursement.
