What You’ll Learn – HI 6000 Medical Assistant
A Certified Medical Assistant is a valuable part of the healthcare team, providing patient care under the supervision of a physician and other licensed healthcare providers. Our Medical Assistant training not only allows you to learn how to provide clinical care but also learn how to complete medical administrative tasks.
Our robust online program includes four courses to complete your Certified Clinical Medical Assistant training: Human Anatomy and Medical Terminology, Professionalism in Allied Health, Clinical Medical Assisting, and Medical Office Procedures and Administration. These courses will offer you the medical knowledge, front and back-office skills, and bedside manner to properly and effectively help patients.
Upon completion of your Medical Assistant training, you are eligible for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exams, issued by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). MedCerts covers the cost of all exams.

The MedCerts Medical Assistant program is delivered online, featuring expert-led video training, interactive simulations, and comprehensive course materials. The program is designed to cater to various learning styles, ensuring an engaging and effective educational experience.
MedCerts includes exam fees and preparation materials in the program cost. The courses are structured to prepare students for the CCMA and CMAA exams. Additionally, MedCerts students are provided access to a Student Success Advisor team, Subject Matter Experts and Career Coaches to assist with exam prep.

We’re not institutionally accredited as a training provider, but the certification you’ll earn in this program is accredited through the exam-issuing authority, National Healthcareer Association (NHA). So while our school itself doesn’t hold accreditation, you’ll earn an accredited certification upon passing your national exam.
While the NHA CCMA exam does not have a clinical requirement, some employers may require or prefer the completion of an internship or externship prior to job placement. MedCerts offers resources and clinical guidelines to assist students with identifying those opportunities.
