American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
The American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) was established in 2010 with a vision of enhancing the allied healthcare industry by providing national certification exams that validate the knowledge and expertise of professionals in this field. The AMCA collaborates and actively participates in the allied healthcare industry to serve as a support network for allied healthcare professionals. To be eligible to earn a AMCA certification, a candidate must possess a high school diploma or the equivalent and be at least 18 years of age.
This certification is ideal for those that want to gain entry into a career as a Physical Therapy Aide. The career outlook for this field is great as the projected job growth in this field is expected to be up to 29% by 2026 and there are an estimated 38,800 clinics in America providing physical therapy. Because knowledge of office administration is vital to the role of a Physical Therapy Aide, graduates will also be trained and prepared to attempt the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification exam sponsored by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Most employers require Aides to have completed a career diploma program and/or have gained Physical Therapy Aide certification.

MedCerts is Excellent
“MedCerts is an excellent online school to attend. You have full 24 hours a day access to log into your classes/ 7 days a week. At your own convenience. The courses are broken down into several sections for easy learning. For example, the course that am currently enrolled in, Medical Front Office & Administration, is broken down into 4-sections for a better understanding of this entire course of study. You are given a course schedule that tells you when you should be starting the next week of lessons, if you finished up early with week 1 then you were able to go ahead and start week 2, because you are working at your own pace. I highly recommend that you give MedCerts a chance.”
