As a Cyber Operations Specialist (17C), your skills will also be valuable in a civilian cybersecurity role, such as a cybersecurity analyst or penetration tester. As an Intelligence Analyst (35F), you are well qualified for civilian careers in threat intelligence and government contracting. Cryptologic Linguists (35P) have valuable language and analysis skills that transfer well to careers in translation, intelligence and clearance-based contract work.

Medical MOS
Another high-demand MOS for civilian careers is a Combat Medic Specialist (68W). Your specialized emergency medicine training translates well to civilian jobs like an EMT, paramedic or medical assistant.
Additionally, Radiology Specialists (68P) or Medical Lab Specialists (68K) have valuable skills that directly align with diagnostic and hospital roles. For these MOS, some of the highest-paying civilian jobs after the military include:
- Phlebotomy Technician
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- Surgical Technologist

Logistics & Operations MOS
Logistics Specialists (92Y/90 Series) have specialized experience in supply chain and inventory management, which is ideal for civilian logistics, warehouse and operations positions.
