It’s now easier than ever for employers to build a skilled and stable workforce through the use of registered apprenticeship programs (RAPs). Employers can now build top-tier RAPs with government funding through The University of Phoenix’s new partnership with MedCerts.

As a healthcare employer, you know firsthand the challenges of attracting and retaining top talent in a competitive industry. MedCerts has partnered with District 1199C to help healthcare employers build RAPs. MedCerts and District 1199C have the expertise and resources to help you implement a successful RAP in your organization. MedCerts will work with you to design and execute a program that meets your specific needs and goals, and they'll provide support and guidance throughout the process. MedCerts will also collaborate with other key stakeholders to ensure the success of the program.

Students who complete healthcare apprenticeships through this partnership with MedCerts are also eligible to receive transfer credits that would go towards a degree at The University of Phoenix.

A Unique Funding Opportunity

Through The University of Phoenix’s partnership with MedCerts, you can receive up to $2,000 per student that enrolls in your apprenticeship program. Here are what these funds can be used for:

  • Costs related to design and start-up of apprenticeship programs
  • Classroom education or online training programs for apprentices
  • Other direct costs related to on-the-job training (excluding wages)
  • Train the trainer costs or activities
  • Training equipment for apprentice programs
  • Curriculum development
  • Financial assistance to support apprentices’ participation
  • Non-wage mentorship related costs
